Jessica Higginbotham and Matthew Cockrell

Cathy Higginbotham of Shannon and Randy Higginbotham of Clarksdale are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Jessica Brooke Higginbotham, to Matthew Ledderrell Cockrell, son of Bobby Jr. and Susan Cockrell of Plantersville.
Jessica is the granddaughter of Dorothy Hare of Plantersville and the late Wayne Hare, Hilton and Linda Higginbotham of Lucedale, and Betty Jo Crocker of Tunica. She is a 2008 graduate of Nettleton High School and attended ICC where she majored in Child Psychology. She is the Assistant Manager at The Children’s Place in Tupelo.
Matthew is the grandson of Bobby Sr. and Elizabeth Cockrell of Mooreville and Elizabeth Brown of Plantersville and the late JL Brown. He is a 2008 graduate of South Pontotoc High School where he played football and soccer. He served in the United States Marine Corps. He is employed at Style Line Furniture in Verona.
The couple will exchange vows on October 3 at 5:00PM on the grounds of the beautiful George Estate at 1198 CR 506 South of Shannon. All family and friends are invited and are encouraged to dress in casual attire.
