Katherine Lee Rourke of Destin, FL and Charles Casey Porter of Destin, FL were united in marriage on August 29, 2015 at Resurrection Catholic Church in Mirimar Beach, FL.
The bride is the daughter of Pamela Ann and William Patrick Rourke of Senoia, GA. She is the granddaughter of William and Mary Rourke and Ms. Barbara Lee Young and the late Carlos Martinez.
She is a graduate of Starr’s Mill High School in Fayetteville, GA and a graduate of Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She earned a Master of Science in Nursing – Acute Care. The bride is a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner at Sacred Heart Medical Group.
The groom is the son of Eva Erin and Charley Van Porter of Houston, MS. He is the grandson of the late Johnny and Agnes Porter of Houston, MS and the late Vernon and Eva Jennings of Woodland, MS.
He is a graduate of Oak Hill Academy in West Point, MS and a graduate of Itawamba Community College with a degree in Physical Therapist Assistant Technology. He is a Physical Therapist Assistant with Gentiva Home Health.
