Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Cox of Pontotoc are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Kaitlyn Elise Cox, to Forest Bradley Williams, son of Mr. Brad Williams of Wren and Mr. and Mrs. Steve Fowlkes of Amory, Mississippi.
Kaitlyn is the granddaughter of Larry and Dianne Cox of Pontotoc, and Billy and Peggy Austin of Pontotoc.
Forest is the grandson of Carolyn Evans and late Ancil Evans of Amory, and Jean Williams and the late Dewey Wayne Williams of Amory, and the late Guy and Elizabeth Fowlkes of Hatley.
The bride-elect is a 2013 special honor graduate of South Pontotoc High School where she played softball and was voted Miss South Pontotoc. Kaitlyn is currently attending Itawamba Community College, working toward her Associate of Applied Science where she will graduate in May of 2016 and begin a career as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
The prospective groom graduated from Amory High School in 2012 as Valedictorian, where he played football and baseball. He attended Mississippi State University. Forest is currently employed at Fowlkes Plumbing and Busy B Rental in Amory, Mississippi.
The couple will exchange vows at 2 o’clock, January 16 at Kingfisher Lodge in Verona, Mississippi with reception to follow. No invitations will be sent. All friends and family are invited to attend.
