Mr. and Mrs. Jim Goodwin of Tupelo are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter Anne Battaile, to Andy McGregor, son of Ms. Suzanne Harlow and Mr. Mike McGregor of Pontotoc, Mississippi.
Miss Goodwin is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Battaile of Saltillo, Mississippi and Mr. and Mrs. Sigmund Goodwin of Crystal Lake, Illinois.
Mr. McGregor is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Pete Harlow of Pontotoc, Mississippi and Mr. Billy McGregor and the late Ms. Corrine Box of Pontotoc, Mississippi.
The bride-elect is a 2008 graduate of Tupelo High School. She graduated from Mississippi State University in 2012 where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. She was a member of Kappa Delta Sorority. She also graduated from Arkansas State University in 2014 where she earned a Master of Education in Educational Leadership. The bride-elect works at Pontotoc Junior High School where she is a math teacher and high school volleyball coach.
The prospective groom graduated from South Pontotoc High School in 2006. He graduated from college in 2011 where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education. He also graduated from Arkansas State University in 2014 where he earned a Master of Education in Educational Leadership. Mr. McGregor is currently employed at Pontotoc Junior High School where he is a history teacher, junior high football coach, and high school baseball coach.
The couple will exchange vows at 1:00 PM, March 12, 2016 at the Chapel of Memories in Starkville, Mississippi. Reception will follow at The Grid Iron Club in Starkville, Mississippi.
