Krystle O’Hara Scales and Ryan Lee Grice
Steve and Cheryl Scales of Baldwyn, MS announce the engagement of their daughter, Krystle O’Hara Scales, to Ryan Lee Grice, son of Brenda Crockett Stewart of Booneville and Bobby Lee Grice of Baldwyn.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Jim & Deloris Casey of Tupelo and the late Charles Wise and the late John Allen and Rosie Scales of Baldwyn.
Miss Scales is a graduate of distinction from Tupelo High School, a Cum Laude graduate of Alabama A & M University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education, a graduate of the University of Mississippi with a Master’s Degree in Curriculum & Instruction, and is currently attending the University of Mississippi earning her Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership. She is a teacher in the Tupelo Public School District.
The prospective groom is the grandson of the late Professor George and Vergie Crockett of Booneville, MS and Mittie Bell Grice and the late Gelin Grice of Baldwyn, MS
Mr. Grice is a graduate of Baldwyn High School where he was a member of the BHS Varsity Band and the Varsity Basketball team.
After high school he attended Hinds Community College in Jackson, MS and is a Veteran who served eight years in the military with one being served in Iraq during the War Iraqi Freedom. He is currently employed with the United Parcel Service (UPS).
The couple will exchange vows on March 12, 2016 at 4:00 p.m. at the Summit Center in Tupelo, MS followed by a reception.
