Maggie Woods and Andrew Roberts

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Scott Woods II of Madison, Miss. announce the engagement of their daughter, Margaret Lyell Woods, to Andrew Hunter Roberts, son of Ms. Suzi Clark Roberts and Mr. and Mrs. Larry Kurt Roberts of Tupelo, Miss. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ewing Carruthers, Jr. of Memphis, Tenn. and Mrs. Edgar Hall Woods and the late Mr. Woods of Scooba, Miss. The prospective bridegroom is the grandson of Mr. Duncan Andrews Clark and the late Mrs. Clark of Tupelo, Miss. and Mr. and Mrs. Larry Ralph Roberts of Baldwyn, Miss.
Miss Woods is a 2009 graduate of St. Andrew’s Episcopal School. She graduated from the University of Mississippi cum laude in 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in communication sciences and disorders and was a member of Chi Omega sorority. She obtained her master’s degree in speech-language pathology from the University of Mississippi in 2015. Miss Woods is a speech-language pathologist with Rogers Public School District in Rogers, Ark.
Roberts is a 2007 graduate of Tupelo High School. He graduated from the University of Mississippi in 2011 with a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in accounting in 2013. A certified public accountant, he is the Director of Business Operations for the University of Arkansas Athletic Department in Fayetteville, Ark.
The couple will exchange vows April 30 at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church in Oxford, Miss. Following the wedding, the couple will be at home in Fayetteville, Ark.
