Elizabeth West and Will Upchurch

Mr. and Mrs. David West of Booneville are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Elizabeth Ann, to William Andrew Upchurch, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Upchurch of Ackerman, Mississippi.
Miss West is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Earl Millsaps and the late Mr. and Mrs. Roy West of Booneville, Mississippi.
Mr. Upchurch is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Delayon Jenkins and the late Mr. and Mrs. James Upchurch of Ackerman, Mississippi.
The bride-elect is an honor graduate of Booneville High School and Northeast Mississippi Community College where she was named to the Hall of Fame. She graduated cum laude from Mississippi University for Women in 2014 where she was named to Phi Kappa Phi. She attends Mississippi State University where she is completing the Master of Arts in English program. She is a graduate teaching assistant for the English Department.
The prospective groom graduated with honors from Ackerman High School in 2010 where he was a member of the Basketball and Baseball teams. He graduated from East Mississippi Community College in 2012 where he was named Mr. EMCC and graduated from Mississippi State University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration degree. He teaches social studies at Noxapater Attendance Center and is assistant baseball and football coach.
The couple will exchange vows at First Baptist Church in Booneville, Mississippi on Saturday, May 28, 2016, at two o’clock in the afternoon. A reception at the church will follow. Friends and family are invited to attend.
