Mr. and Mrs. John Henderson Young, III of Jackson announce the engagement of their daughter, Anna Laura Young of Jackson, to Hayden Lowry West, son of Dr. and Mrs. Peter Lowry West of Tupelo.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Rhorer Peaster, III of Yazoo City and Mrs. Mary Lou Young of Jackson and Mr. and Mrs. John Henderson Young, Jr. of Ocean Springs. The prospective bridegroom’s grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Hoyle Steve Hester and Mrs. Jeanette Lowry West and the late Mr. Harry West, all of Tupelo.
Miss Young is a 2006 graduate of Jackson Preparatory School and a 2011 graduate of the University of Mississippi. She received her Bachelors Degree in Special Education. At Ole Miss, she was a member of the Chi Omega Sorority and she was presented by the Delta Debutante Society in 2007. She is currently employed by Hemline in Ridgeland.
Mr. West is a 2006 graduate of Tupelo High School. He was graduated from the University of Mississippi in 2011 with Bachelor Degrees in Banking and Finance and Managerial Finance. In 2013, he received a Masters Degree in Healthcare Administration from the University of Mississippi. While at Ole Miss, Hayden was a member of Phi Delta Theta Fraternity, serving as Rush Chairman. He is employed by the University of Mississippi Medical Center as an EHR Systems Analyst.
The couple will exchange vows at 6:00 p.m. on July 23 at the First Presbyterian Church of Jackson, Mississippi.
