Carly Daniel Wilbanks and Charles Vanhook Cooper

Mr. and Mrs. James Wilbanks of New Albany are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Carly Daniel Wilbanks, to Charles Vanhook Cooper, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Cooper of New Albany, Mississippi.
Miss Carly Wilbanks is the granddaughter of the late Carl and Marge Swofford and the late Billy and Mary Wilbanks, all of New Albany.
Mr. Van Cooper is the grandson of Ben and Bea Avent of Corinth, Mississippi, and the late Warren and Maudell Cooper of New Albany, Mississippi.
The bride-elect is a 2009 graduate of New Albany High School and graduated from Mississippi State in 2013 with a Bachelor in Educational Psychology. Carly is currently employed as the New Albany Main Street Director.
The prospective groom is a 2007 graduate of New Albany High School and graduated from Mississippi State in 2011 with a Bachelor in Marketing. Van has his Graduate Gemologist degree and a degree in Jewelry Design Technology, both from Carlsbad, California. He is currently employed at Van Atkins Jewelers in New Albany, Mississippi.
The couple will exchange vows on October 1, 2016, in a private ceremony.
