Dr. and Mrs. Gary William Johnson of Tupelo announce the engagement of their daughter, Stacy Elizabeth Johnson, to Blain Douglas Wiese, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gerald F. Wiese of Tupelo.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Burleigh Russell of Corinth; the late Vester Johnson of Fulton; the late Thellon Cody of Plantersville; and Eva Lois Johnson of Fulton.
She is a 1999 graduate of Tupelo High School. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education at the University of Mississippi.
The prospective groom is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Douglas Hadaway of Zion, IL.
He is a 1991 graduate of Tupelo High School and was proud to serve in the United States Marine Corps. The groom is the Operations Manager of the Natchez Trace RV Park and Campground.
The couple will exchange vows at 3:00 p.m. March 7, 2015, at First Baptist Church in Tupelo. A reception will follow at the Holiday Inn and Suites, 923 North Gloster. Family and friends are invited.
