Mary Margaret Via and Daniel Chase Wilkerson

Mr. and Mrs. George Martin Via of Booneville announce the engagement of their daughter, Mary Margaret Via, to Daniel Chase Wilkerson, son of Mr. and Mrs. David Lee Wilkerson of Booneville.
The Bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Genie Smith Pounds and the late Dr. Billy Dean Pounds of Booneville, and Mrs. Willie Martin Via and the late Mr. George Willard Via of Booneville.
Mary Margaret is a 2008 graduate of Booneville High School, and a graduate of the University of Mississippi with a bachelor’s degree in pharmaceutical science and a doctoral degree in pharmacy. She is a pharmacist with Walgreens in the north Mississippi district.
The prospective groom is the grandson of Mrs. Patricia Simpson Smith and the late Mr. Joseph Whitley Smith of Leeds, Alabama, the late Mildred Murphree, Rev. Landreth Murphree and Mrs. Margaret Higgason Murphree of Myrtle.
Chase is a 2009 graduate of Booneville High School, and a graduate of Delta State University with a bachelor’s degree in athletic training. He is an athletic trainer with Crossroads Rehabilitation services in New Albany.
The couple will exchange vows on December 10, 2016 at 6 p.m. at First United Methodist Church in Booneville. The reception will follow at Blue August in Baldwyn. All friends and family are invited to attend. Following their honeymoon, the couple will reside in Tupelo.
