Mr. and Mrs. Steve Martin of Pontotoc are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter Mary Frances to Louis Kirk Malatesta, son of Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Malatesta of Clarksdale, Mississippi.
Miss Martin is the granddaughter of Mrs. Waidean Williamson and the late John Williamson of West Point, Mississippi and Mrs. Ester Martin and the late Cecil Martin of Belden, Mississippi.
Mr. Malatesta is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Dan Collins of Marks, Mississippi and the late Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Malatesta of Clarksdale, Mississippi.
The bride-elect is a 2011 honor graduate of Cleveland High School in Cleveland, Mississippi. She attends Delta State University in Cleveland, Mississippi where she will graduate in May with a bachelors degree in Elementary Education.
The prospective groom is a 2012 honor graduate of Delta Academy in Marks, Mississippi. He attends Mississippi Delta Community College. Mr. Malatesta is currently employed at Malatesta Farms Management. .
The couple will exchange vows at 4 pm, May 23 at First Baptist Church in Cleveland, Mississippi. The reception will follow at the Cleveland Country Club in Cleveland, Mississippi. Friends and family are invited to attend.
