Mr. and Mrs. Christopher S. Powell of Olive Branch, MS are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Miss Caroline Jean Powell, to Mr. Jarrett Lance Davis, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lance Davis of Amory, MS. The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Murray Johnson of Atmore, AL, Mrs. Richard DeBoest and the late Mr. Richard DeBoest of Alva, FL, Mr. and Mrs. Ed McEntire of Denver, CO, and the late Mr. Richmond Powell of Ft. Myers, FL. Caroline is a graduate of DeSoto Central High School in Southaven, MS. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Geological Engineering from The University of Mississippi where she was a member of Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honor Society. Caroline is a Quality Technologist at Mars, Inc. in Greenville, MS. The prospective groom is the grandson of the late Mrs. Renetta Thompson of Amory, MS, the late Mrs. Linda Norris of Amory, and the late Mr. Larry Holloway of Orlando, FL. Jarrett is a graduate of Amory High School in Amory, MS, where he was valedictorian of his senior class. He received his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Mississippi where he was a member of Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honor Society and Center of Manufacturing Excellence. Jarrett is a Chain Supply Associate at Mars, Inc. in Greenville, MS. The couple will marry April 25th at 2:30 PM at Bonne Terre Inn, Nesbit, MS, with a reception to follow at Ashley Hall. Following their nuptials, the couple will reside in Greenville, MS.
