Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Douell of Clinton are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter Kynni Addisyn, to Charles Matthew Jones, son of Mr. and Mrs. Barry Jones of Amory.
Miss Douell is the granddaughter of Mrs. Judy Douell and the late Mr. Jerry Douell Sr., of Pontotoc, and Mr. Ken Pruett and the late Mrs. Kay Pruett, also of Pontotoc.
Mr. Jones is the grandson of Mrs. Betty Jones and the late Mr. Bill Jones of Amory and the late Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Ward.
The bride-elect is a 2012 graduate of Clinton High School. She graduated from Mississippi State University in 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in biology. The bride-elect plans to attend medical school with hopes of pursuing a career in pediatric sports medicine.
The prospective groom graduated from Amory High School in 2010 where he was valedictorian. He graduated from Mississippi State University in 2014 with a bachelor’s degree and in 2015 with a master’s degree, both in computer science. Mr. Jones is currently employed with the U.S. Navy Space and Warfare Systems Command Atlantic in Charleston, SC where he is a computer scientist.
The couple will exchange vows May 23, 2015, at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Starkville. Reception will follow in the First Baptist Church Outreach Center. Friends and family are invited to attend.
