Amy Jo Young and Steve Brooks

Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Young of Booneville are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Amy Jo, to Stephen Alan Brooks, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Brooks of New Albany.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Inez Criswell and the late Mr. Dennis Criswell of the Dry Creek community and Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Young of Booneville.
The prospective groom is the grandson of the late Roy and Julia Robertson of New Albany and Mrs. Yvonne Brooks and the late Mr. Havis Brooks of Blue Springs.
Miss Young is a 2002 honor graduate of Jumpertown High School, and a 2006 graduate of Northeast Mississippi Community College with an associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology. She is currently employed as a Registered Radiologic Technologist and Mammographer at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Union County.
Mr. Brooks is a 2001 graduate of New Albany High School and a 2003 graduate of Itawamba Community College with an associate’s degree in Automotive Technology. He is currently employed at Glenfield Garage in New Albany, MS.
The couple will exchange vows on June 13, 2015, at 3 p.m. at Carolina United Methodist Church in Booneville, MS, with a reception to follow. All friends and family are invited to attend.
