Mr. Michael Wright and Ms. Nickola Wright of Tupelo, MS and Kenny Ward of Baldwyn, MS are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter Savannah Dawn, to James Michael, son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Gammill of West Point, MS.
Miss Wright is the granddaughter of the late Edward Ryan of West Palm Beach, FL and Ms. Darlene Stone of Huntsville, AL and Mr. and Mrs. James Wright of Tupelo, MS.
Mr. Gammill is the grandson of the late Mr. Daniel Norman and Mrs. Karen Norman of Big Creek, MS and the late Mr. and Mrs. F.J. Gammill of West Point, MS.
The bride-elect is a 2008 graduate of Tupelo High School where she was in the National Honor Society, Big Brother Big Sister, Anchor Club, choir and band. She graduated from ICC in 2010 with an Associates of Arts Degree. She was a member of the All American band and in choir. She also attended Ole Miss and graduated in 2013 with a Bachelors degree in Liberal Arts. She was a member of the Pride of the South band. The bride-elect works at Maurices where she is an assistant manager.
The prospective groom graduated from West Point High School in 2010 where he was a member of the band and National Honors Society. He graduated from Mississippi State University in 2015 with a Bachelors of Science in Chemical Engineering where he was a member of the Famous Maroon Band, American Institute of Chemical Engineers, and the Omega Chi Epsilon Honors Society.
The couple will exchange vows at 3 p.m., June 6 at Parkway Baptist Church in Tupelo, MS. Reception will follow at The Summit Center in Tupelo, MS. Friends and family are invited to attend.
