Mr. and Mrs. David Blackwell of Tupelo, MS are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter Maggie McKenzie, to Dustin Clint Mott, son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Boswell of Collinsville, MS and the late Mr. William Clint Mott of Union, MS.
Miss Blackwell is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Grover Jackson of Aberdeen, MS and the late Mr. and Mrs. Leon Blackwell of Tupelo, MS.
Mr. Mott is the grandson of Mr. Ronald Walters and the late Mrs. Sally Walters of Union, MS and the late Mr. and Mrs. William Harold Mott of Neshoba, MS.
The bride-elect is a 2007 graduate of Tupelo High School. She graduated from Mississippi College in 2011 with cum laude distinction and now attends the University of Mississippi Medical Center’s School of Health Related Professions. The bride-elect works at Anderson Regional Medical Center where she is a sleep lab technologist and a registered electroencephalographic technologist.
The prospective groom graduated from Union High School in 2004. He graduated from Mississippi State University in 2008 where he was a member of Kappa Delta Pi. Mr. Mott is currently employed at Union Elementary School where he teaches fourth grade.
The couple will exchange vows at 2:30 in the afternoon on June 13 at First Baptist Church in Tupelo, MS. Reception will follow at First Baptist Church in Tupelo, MS. Friends and family are cordially invited to attend.
