Chuck and Wendy Pound of Pontotoc are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Kelsey Devin Pound, to Collin Addison McIntyre, son of Susan McIntyre of Columbus, and James and Pam McIntyre of Pensacola, FL.
Kelsey is the granddaughter of Shirley Frederick and the late Alton Frederick of Tupelo, and Rosemary Pound and the late Bill Pound of Pontotoc.
Collin is the grandson of Mary Ann Howton and the late Raymond “Doug” Howton of Caledonia, and Mary Virginia McIntyre and the late Joseph Wayne McIntyre.
The bride-elect is a 2011 graduate of Pontotoc High School and a 2013 graduate of Itawamba Community College. She was an active member of Phi Theta Kappa, the ICC All American Band Colorguard, and the Baptist Student Union. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Mississippi State University with a Bachelor of Arts in English.
The Prospective groom is a 2011 graduate of Caledonia High School and a 2013 graduate of Itawamba Community College. He was an active member of the Baptist Student Union. He graduated Cum Laude from Mississippi State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Management. He is currently employed as Assistant Manager at Obys of Starkville.
The couple will exchange vows on July 11, 2015, at 5 p.m. at Longview Baptist Church in Belden. Immediately following the ceremony, a reception will be held at the Antler in Tupelo. The couple invites all family and friends to attend.
