Mr. and Mrs. Robert Hood Gregory of Okolona announce the engagement of their daughter, Caroline Knowles, to Andrew Bennett Mazey, son of Dr. and Mrs. Richard Michael Mazey, of Mobile, Alabama.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Brigadier General and Mrs. Van Tankersley Stubbs, Sr. of Baldwyn and the late Mr. and Mrs. William Harrison Gregory, Sr. of Okolona.
She is a graduate of Oak Hill Academy and a graduate of the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, Alabama where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Corporate Communications and Public Affairs. She is employed as a Senior Public Relations Coordinator by J. Mendel in New York, New York.
The prospective groom is the grandson of Mrs. Leslie Ernest Karr and the late Dr. Leslie Ernest Karr of Corbin, Kentucky and Mrs. James Fitzpatrick Morrissey of Louisville, KY and the late Mr. Lawrence Mazey of Louisville, Kentucky.
He is a graduate of UMS-Wright Preparatory School in Mobile, Alabama and a graduate of Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee where he received a Bachelor of Science in Financial Economics and a Bachelor of Science in Human and Organizational Development. He is employed as a Senior Consultant with Kurt Salmon in New York, New York.
The couple will exchange vows at 6:30 p.m. August 22, 2015, at Boone Hall Plantation in Charleston, South Carolina. A reception will follow on the grounds.
