Eric and Susan Garner of Dorsey, and Scotty and Angie Ross of Pontotoc announce the upcoming wedding of their daughter, Erica Garner, to John Oakes, son of James and Vickie Oakes of Tupelo.
The bride elect is the granddaughter of Betty Bost and the late Tommy Bost of Tupelo, and Percy and Pam Garner of Tupelo.
The prospective groom is the grandson of Berdell and Linda Jones of Tupelo, and Jimmy and Diane Oakes of Tupelo.
The bride elect is a 2012 graduate of Tupelo High School. She earned her Associate of Arts Degree and Certification of Surgical Technology at Itawamba Community College in 2015. She is employed by North Mississippi Medical Center.
The prospective groom is a 2012 graduate of Tupelo High School. He received an Associate of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice from Itawamba Community College in 2014. He is employed by Better Brands Distributing Co. He is also a member of the armed forces, serving his country in the National Guard.
The couple will exchange vows at 4:00 pm on October 24, 2015, at Holley Farms Wedding Barn in Tremont, MS. A reception will follow. Family and friends are invited.
