Mr. and Mrs. Rodney Bell of Pontotoc, Mississippi are pleased to announce the forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Leigh Ashley, to Mitchell Clint Edwards, son of Mr. and Mrs. Mike Edwards of Calhoun City, Mississippi.
Ashley is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Billy J. Ivey of Quitman, Mississippi and the late Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Bell of Starkville, Mississippi.
Mitchell is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Larry Bratton of Calhoun City, Mississippi and Mr. and Mrs. Davis Edwards of Calhoun City, Mississippi.
The bride-elect is a 2007 honor graduate of North Pontotoc High School. In 2012 she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Mississippi State University. Ashley earned a Master of Science degree in Secondary Biology from Mississippi State University in 2013. She is employed as a high school biology teacher for the Starkville Public School District in Starkville, Mississippi.
The bridegroom-elect is a 2008 graduate of Calhoun City High School. Mitchell is a 2013 graduate of Mississippi State University where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Agronomy Science specializing in Integrated Crop Management. He is employed as a fertilizer manager with Sanders Incorporated in Macon, Mississippi.
The couple will exchange vows on December 5, 2015 at six o’clock in the evening at Friendship Baptist Church in Ecru, Mississippi.
