Lauren Elizabeth Reed and Jason Dean Stacy

Dr. and Mrs. William Ray Reed, junior of Tupelo are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter Lauren Elizabeth to Dr. Jason Dean Stacy, son of Mr. and Mrs. E. Dean Stacy of Tupelo, MS and Dr. and Mrs. Joe Edd Morris of Tupelo, MS.

Miss Reed is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Wilson King of Varnville, SC and Mr. and Mrs. William Ray Reed, Sr. of Tupelo, MS.

Dr. Stacy is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Wilburn Perry of Ingomar, MS and the late Mr. and Mrs. Wendell Stacy of Booneville, MS.

The bride-elect is a 2008 honor graduate of Tupelo High School where she was a Rotary Scholar and member of the National Honor Society. She graduated Cum Laude from Furman University in Greenville, SC in 2012 with a Bachelor of Arts in Art History. She was a member and officer of Delta Delta Delta Sorority and served on the board of Ladies of Distinction. She is a member of the Jamestowne Society and First Families of Mississippi. The bride-elect is employed by Remains Lighting in New York, NY where she serves as the Manager of Sales Operations.

The prospective groom is a 2001 honor graduate of Tupelo High School where he was a Rotary Scholar and a member of Harvard Model Congress. He was an Eagle Scout and Order of the Arrow in Troop 12. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Hampden-Sydney College in Farmville, VA in 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. He was a member of Alpha Chi Sigma Fraternity and served as President of The Union- Philanthropic Literary Society. He received his Doctor of Medicine Degree from The George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C. Dr. Stacy is currently serving as Chief Neurosurgical Resident at University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, MS. He will join the staff of North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, MS in August, 2016.

The couple will exchange vows at 6:00pm, December 5, 2015 at First United Methodist Church in Tupelo, Mississippi. Reception will follow at Kingfisher Lodge in Tupelo, Mississippi. Friends and family are invited to attend.
