Rev. and Mrs. Marvin Robbins of Booneville are pleased to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Heather Allison Robbins, to Dylan Scott Henderson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Levi Henderson, Jr. of Headland, Alabama.
Miss Robbins is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lynwood Shackelford of Ripley, Mrs. Agnes New of Pontotoc, and the late Joe Robbins.
Mr. Henderson is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Cummings and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Nowlin, all of Abbeville, Alabama, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Levi Henderson, Sr.
The bride-elect attended Pine Grove School, Ripley, where she was a member of the Beta Club, and graduated with honors from home school in 2008. She graduated summa cum laude from Itawamba Community College and Mississippi State University, and also obtained the MBA degree from Mississippi State University, maintaining a 4.0 GPA. Miss Robbins is employed at Sears in Tupelo as Operations Supervisor.
The prospective groom is a 2012 honors graduate of Headland High School in Headland, Alabama, where he was a member of the Navy Junior ROTC. He attended Blue Mountain College, where he served as missions coordinator of the Ministerial Association, and will continue his education while serving as Youth Minister at Mulberry Baptist Church in Maplesville, Alabama..
The couple will exchange vows at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 14, 2016, at Grace Christian Church, 869 County Road 52, Helena, Alabama. A reception will follow in the church fellowship hall. Friends and family are invited to attend.
