Shelby Hommel and Will Maxcy

Will Maxcy of Fulton, MS and Shelby Hommel of Tylertown, MS are excited to announce their engagement. Shelby is the daughter of Randy and Theresa Harrell of Tylertown, and the late Mike Hommel of Plant City Fla. Will is the son of Jerry and Carolyn Maxcy of Fulton, MS and Glenn and Brenda Thames of Terry, MS.

Will graduated from Mississippi State University in 2015 with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Information Systems and is currently employed by Blue Cross/Blue Shield Insurance Company in Jackson, MS as a Programmer.

Shelby graduated from Mississippi State University in 2014 with a bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry. She then began her undergraduate education at the University of Mississippi where she has earned her second Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences and is currently working on her Doctorate degree in Pharmacy.

Shelby and Will met while they were both students at Mississippi State University.

Shelby is the grand-daughter of Sheila Fisher and Lionell and Mamie Harrell of Tylertown and Robert and Tama Hommel of Plant City, Florida.

Will is the grandson of the late Charles and Lee Earl Snipes of Pontotoc, Ms and Lewis and Juanita Maxcy and the late Hope Maxcy of Dorsey, MS.

Will and Shelby will exchange vows at 6 p.m. on June 11 at Southwind in Shannon, Mississippi. The reception will follow at the same location. Friends and family are invited to attend.
