Mr. and Mrs. Thomas May of Houston are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter Kristin Hope, to Thomas Miles Hughes, son of Mrs. Sharon Meeks Hughes and the late George E. Hughes of Corinth, MS.
Miss May is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Roy Woodruff of Houston, MS and the granddaughter of the late Mrs. Doris Dupree of Birmingham, AL. She is also the great-granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Elton Harris of Houston, MS.
Mr. Hughes is the grandson of Mrs. Colette M. Meeks and the late Mr. Henry J. Meeks of Corinth, MS, and also the grandson of Mr. Frank K. and Jean Hadden Hughes of Corinth, MS.
The bride-elect is a 2003 graduate of Houston High School. She is also a 2008 graduate of The University of Mississippi with a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology. The bride-elect currently works at AEL of Memphis where she is a Medical Laboratory Scientist.
The prospective groom graduated from Corinth High School in 2004. He is also a graduate of The University of Mississippi with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis on Human Resource Management.
The couple will exchange vows at 5:30PM, August 13th at Paris-Yates Chapel in Oxford, MS. Reception will follow at The Inn at Ole Miss in Oxford, MS. All friends and family are invited to attend. After a Viking Cruise in France, the couple will make their home in Olive Branch, MS.
