Mr. and Mrs. Gary and Rose Peak of New Albany are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter Cierra Nicole Peak to Samuel Ryan Matthews son of Mr. John Matthews of Mantachie, MS and MS. Juanita Matthews of Saltillo, MS.
Miss Cierra Peak is the granddaughter of Ms.Linda McClure of New Albany, MS and Mr. and Mrs. Tommy McClure of New Albany, MS. She is the great granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Stokes Hamblin and the late Mr.and Mrs. Newt McClure.
Mr. Samuel Matthews is the grandson of Sandy Hill of Shannon, MS.
The bride-elect is a New Albany High School Graduate in 2012 where she was a member of the National Honor Society, Anchor Club, Band, and Spanish Club.. She graduated from Northeast Community College in 2015 with an Associate Degree in Nursing . Cierra Peak works at North Mississippi Medical Center where she is a nurse.
The prospective groom graduated from Mantachie High School in 2013 where he was a member of the Betta Club, FFA Member, and played football. He graduated from Ittawamba Community College in 2015 with a Law Enforcement Tech. Associate Degree. Samuel is currently employed at Transpower where he is a shop employee.
The couple will exchange vows at 5:00 September 24, 2016 at Hillcrest Baptist Church in New Albany, MS. Reception will follow in the gym at the church. Friends and family are invited to attend.
