Greg and Sylina Hood of Baldwyn, MS are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter Anna Katelin Hood to James Hunter Mears, son of Ben and Melinda Mears of Mantachie, MS.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Wayne and Betty Hood of Baldwyn, MS, the late Hayden McCombs of New Site, MS, and David and Janice Lawrence of Marietta, MS.
The prospective groom is the grandson of Joe and Sue Mears of Mantachie, MS, and the late James and Betty Reich of Mantachie, MS.
Miss Hood is a 2013 graduate of Mantachie High School. She graduated from Itawamba Community College in 2016 with an Associates degree in Nursing. She is currently employed as a Registered Nurse at North Mississippi Medical Center.
Mr. Mears is a 2013 graduate of Mantachie High School. He is currently employed at Bradley Flooring in Mooreville, MS.
The couple will exchange vows on October 8, 2016 at 4:00pm at Wisteria Woods in Mooreville, MS with reception to follow. All family and friends are invited to attend.
