Mitchell & Karen McMillen of Myrtle are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter Jodie Renea, to Jacob Garner Neal, son of Barry Neal of New Albany & Kelly Potts of Etta.
Miss McMillen is the granddaughter of Dwight & Jessie Bramlitt of Myrtle and Betty McMillen & the late Jimmy Dean McMillen of New Albany.
Mr. Neal is the grandson of Kay Potts & the late Durrell Potts of Etta and Anne Neal & the late Wayne Neal of New Albany.
The bride-elect is a 2013 graduate of West Union, where she was valedictorian of the Class of 2013 . She graduated from Itawamba Community College in 2016 where she earned her Associates Degree of Nursing. The bride-elect works at NMMC-Tupelo where she is a inpatient oncology nurse.
The prospective groom graduated from West Union in 2011, where he graduated with special honors. He graduated from Northeast Mississippi Community College in 2013, where he earned an Associate’s Degree in History. Mr. Neal is currently employed with the United States Postal Service where he is a city carrier.
The couple will exchange vows in a private ceremony at 3:30 P.M, January 24 at the Chapel at the Park in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Reception will follow at Calhoun’s in Gatlinburg.
