[Elizabeth Claire Lucas of Nashville,TN and Frederick Tatum Henson of Nashville, TN were united in marriage at 2:00 p.m. on October 22, 2016 at Resurrection Catholic Church, Miramar Beach, Florida. The Reverend Father Tom Guido performed the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Perry Lucas of Columbus, MS. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Joseph Sam Iupe, Sr. of Canton, MS and the late Mr. Joseph Sam Iupe, Sr. and the late Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Dreyer Lucas of West Point, MS.
The groom is the son of Ms. Mary Sandra Tatum Henson of Tupelo, MS and Mr. David Wright Henson, Sr. of Tupelo, MS. He is the grandson of Mrs. Frederick Edward Tatum of Hattiesburg, MS and the late Dr. Frederick Edward Tatum and the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Marion Henson, Sr.
Escorted by her father, Raymond Perry Lucas, the bride wore a fitted silhouette ivory gown with a lace overlay, a sprinkling of demure buttons down the back of the gown and a hand beaded sash. Her cathedral length veil of ivory tulle was scattered with lace embellishments.
The Matron of Honor was JoAnna Younger Jameson of West Point,MS. The Maid of Honor was Emily Marie McConnell of Columbus, MS. Bridesmaids were Catherine Waddell Dambrino of Jackson, MS; Lindsay Knapple Henson(sister-in-law of the groom) of Tupelo, MS; Linn Sekenis Nowell of Atlanta, GA; Roshni Ashok Patel of Dallas, TX; Natalie Boyd Warnock of Memphis, TN. Bess Francis Henson, niece of the groom,was the Flower Girl. The attendants wore floor length stormy blue chiffon dresses featuring a halter style neckline, natural waistline and full flowing skirt.
David Wright Henson, Jr., brother of the groom, of Tupelo, MS was best man. Groomsmen were William Rodgers Briscoe of Oxford, MS, John Gregory Lucas(brother of the bride) of Jackson, MS; Alan Sanders Pryor of Nashville, TN; Reid Hudson Ross of Nashville, TN; Aaron Eastland Stamm of Greensboro, NC; and Charles Palmer Threadgill of Colorado Springs, CO. Ring Bearer was William Walker Robertson of Meridian, MS, cousin of the bride.
Following a wedding trip to Hermitage Bay, Antigua, the couple resides in Nashville, TN. The bride is a Certified Public Accountant and an Audit Senior with Deloitte & Touche, LLP in Nashville, TN. The groom is a Key Account Manager for Bunzl Distribution in Nashville, TN.
