Mrs. Barbara Stein and LTC. John Stein (late) of Macomb, Illinois are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter Erin Leigh Stein, to Andrew Sterling Jones, son of Mr. and Mrs. Glen Jones of the Wren Community.

Miss Stein is the granddaughter of Mrs. Betty Nelson and the (late) Jerry Nelson also of Macomb, Illinois.

Mr. Jones is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. James Boyd of the Wren Community and Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Jones of Fort Myers, Florida.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Pensacola Christian Academy. She received her Doctorate of Veterinarian Medicine from the University of Illinois. She is an accomplished pianist and violinist. Captain Stein is currently serving as a Veterinarian in the United States Army. She is stationed at Red Stone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama.

The prospective groom graduated from Tupelo High School where he participated in Wave Connection and the Madrigals. He was a six year Rotary Scholar. He received his Bachelor of
Science in Aerospace Engineering and MBA degrees from MSU. He was the recipient of the Spirit of State Award and named Sophomore Aerospace Student of the Year. He also served as President of the Disc Golf Team and was a member of the team that won MSU their first place National Collegiate Title. He was a member of the Brothers Under Christ fraternity. Mr. Jones currently works as an Aerospace Engineer for Lockheed Martin in Huntsville, Alabama.

The couple will exchange vows at sunset at Guntersville State Park on September 16th. Reception and a dinner will follow at the Lodge. Friends and family are invited to attend.

Miss Grubbs is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Kidd of Selma, Ala, Lynn and the late Rita Collier of Pontotoc, Ms, and Earl and the late Rubie Jean Grubbs of Ecru, Ms.
Mr. Bryan is the grandson of the late Billy and Marvinell Carnathan of Fulton, Ms and Harold and Linda Bryan of Columbia, Tn.
She graduated Salutatorian from North Pontotoc High School in 2011, where she was active in band and various other clubs. She is a 2015 graduate of the nursing program at Itawamba Community College and a 2016 graduate of the Mississippi University for Women with a bachelor’s degree in Nursing. She is currently employed as a charge nurse for the Renal/Nephrology unit at the North Mississippi Medical Center.
Ben is the 2011 honors graduate of Mantachie High School, where he was an active member of the band. He is a 2014 graduate of Itawamba Community College with a degree in computer networking and a certificate in computer programming. He is currently self employed.
The couple will exchange vows at 4:00pm on September 24, 2016, at East Main church of Christ in Tupelo. Reception to follow. All family and friends are invited to attend.

Miss Lucas is and honor graduate of Heritage Academy in Columbus and was Lowndes County’s Junior Miss. She was Treasurer of Kappa Delta Sorority and a member of Beta Alpha Psi at Mississippi State University where she earned a Bachelor of Accountancy Degree and a Master of Professional Accountancy Degree. She is a Certified Public Accountant and an Audit Senior with Deloitte & Touche, LLP in Nashville, TN.
The prospective groom is the grandson of Mrs. Frederick Edward Tatum of Hattiesburg, MS and the late Dr. Frederick Edward Tatum of Hattiesburg, MS and the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert Marion Henson of Okolona, MS.
Mr. Henson is a graduate of Tupelo High School and an Eagle Scout. He is a graduate of Mississippi State University where he was a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Kinesiology. He is a Territory Sales Manager for Bunzl Distribution in Nashville, TN.

Mr. Chunn is the grandson of Gerald Chunn of Pontotoc, MS, Mrs. Sylvia Chunn of Tupelo, MS, Mrs. Shelby Jean Flemming of Mooreville, MS and the late James Green of Mooreville, MS.

The bride-elect is a 2008 graduate of Nettleton High School and a 2015 graduate of Northeast Mississippi Community College Associate Degree Nursing program. She is a recent graduate of Mississippi University for Women where she furthered her education to obtain a Bachelor’s in Science and Nursing. The bride-elect works at North Mississippi Medical Center as a registered nurse in the critical care unit.

The prospective groom graduated from South Pontotoc High School in 2009. Mr. Chunn is currently employed at Shoe Country in Tupelo. He is also the owner of Shoe Country Warehouse and Healthy Habits in Tupelo.

The couple attends Union Grove Church of God of Prophecy in Mooreville, MS where they are active members within their church.

Brett is a graduate of Baldwyn High School and attended Northeast Mississippi Community College. He currently works at Waters Funeral Home and operates his own construction business along with his family farm.

The bride-elect attended Sharkey Issaquena Academy in Rolling Fork, MS. She graduated from Mississippi State University in 2012 where she was a member of Phi Mu Sorority, the Student Association, and the Montgomery Leadership Program. The bride-elect is an aide to Senator Thad Cochran.

The prospective groom attended Tupelo High School. He graduated from the University of Mississippi in 2009, where he was a member of Sigma Chi Fraternity and worked in the William Winter Institute for Racial Reconciliation. Mr. Mize is an aide to Senator Thad Cochran.

She is currently attending Itawamba Community College, working towards an Occupational Therapy Assistant degree.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Joyce McGar and the late Jimmy McGar of Pontotoc, Vida Adams of Pontotoc, the late Lamar Crausby of Pontotoc, and the late Robert Adams of Grenada.

Mr. Adams is an honor graduate of South Pontotoc High School where he was a member of the football and baseball teams. He attended Itawamba Community College and Mississippi State University, with a Bachelors of Science in Wildlife, Fisheries and Agriculture. He is co-owner of Adams Directional Drilling in Randolph.

The groom to be graduated from Nettleton High School in 2008. Jami graduated from Itawamba Community College in 2016 with an Industrial Maintenance degree. He is currently employed as an electrician at Jesco in Tupelo, MS.

The bride-elect is a nurse in the emergency room at North Mississippi Medical Center.

The prospective groom is a 2009 honor graduate of New Albany High School where he was a member of student council, four time letterman in baseball and football, and a senior mentor. He attended Northeast Mississippi Community College where he served as captain of the baseball team. He graduated from the University of Mississippi in 2015 with a degree in Managerial Finance. Mr. Dodds is currently employed at BNA Bank where he is a universal banker.

Preston is the grandson of Mr. Gerald and Mrs. Kaye Finley of Randolph, Mr. Billy and Mrs. Betty Bagwell of Pontotoc, and Mr. Gary and Mrs. Patricia Jenkins of Thaxton, MS.

The bride-elect is a 2012 graduate of Pontotoc High School where she was a member of the Varsity Powerlifting Team and a member of the Varsity Soccer Team. She graduated from Itawamba Community College and is currently attending Mississippi State University. She will graduate in May of 2017 with a Bachelors Degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in Health Fitness Studies.

The prospective groom graduated from South Pontotoc High School in 2012, where he was a member of the Varsity Football Team. He graduated from Itawamba Community College and then furthered his education at Northwest Community College. While attending Northwest, Preston was named Outstanding Student, was a member of Phi Theta Kappa, was a Skills USA State Gold Medalist and received Highest Honors. He earned his degree in Agribusiness. Preston is currently employed with Wade, Inc. where he works as a Agricultural Technician.

The Chumbley family is happy to announce the upcoming marriage of Daryl Jo (D.J.) Chumbley to Garrett David Doorenbos on October 1, 2016, at 11:30 at the Jamie L. Whitten Historical Center in Fulton.
The bride-to-be is daughter of Robert Darrell and Patty Jo Chumbley of Golden and sister to Resa Collier. She is also granddaughter to Robert and Olene Chumbley of Tremont and Billie and Shelby Spencer of Fulton.
The prospective groom, Garrett, is son of Lissa Gamble Doorenbos of Saltillo and Dr. David and Judy Doorenbos of Mooreville. He is an older brother to his siblings Jacob, Barbara, and John, and is a grandson of the late David Eugene and Sue Gamble of Baldwyn, the late Fumiko Ikemori of Oxford, and the late Norman Doorenbos of Opelika, Alabama.
D.J. is a graduate of Tremont Attendance Center who then began higher education at Itawamba Community College. After ICC, she earned a B.A in English at the University of Mississippi while interning as a researcher/writer with the college. Currently, she is working at Calhoun Community College in Decatur, AL, while working towards a Master in Business Administration from the Mississippi University for Women.
Garrett is a Saltillo High School graduate who looked to Itawamba Community College to begin his higher education. After ICC, he earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering at Mississippi State University. He is currently working as a software engineer for Adtran in Huntsville, AL.

The bride-elect is a 2009 graduate of New Albany High School and graduated from Mississippi State in 2013 with a Bachelor in Educational Psychology. Carly is currently employed as the New Albany Main Street Director.
The prospective groom is a 2007 graduate of New Albany High School and graduated from Mississippi State in 2011 with a Bachelor in Marketing. Van has his Graduate Gemologist degree and a degree in Jewelry Design Technology, both from Carlsbad, California. He is currently employed at Van Atkins Jewelers in New Albany, Mississippi.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Mary Lee Helms of Shannon and the late Terry Junior Helms, Mr. and Mrs. Jefferson Augusta Collier of Starkville, and Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Glen Moses of Tupelo.
Katie is a 2009 graduate of Tremont High School where she was named Valedictorian, Star Student, and was a member of the Hall of Fame. She attended Itawamba Community College for two years where she was a captain of the ICC All-American Band Indianette dance line, a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honorary Society, and graduated with Special Honors. She is a 2013 Magna Cum Laude graduate from the University of Mississippi School of Pharmacy where she received a Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences. As an undergraduate, she was inducted into the Provost Scholars Program, Gamma Beta Phi, Gamma of Mississippi, Sigma Alpha Lambda, and Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society. She graduated Cum Laude in 2016 from the University of Mississippi School of Pharmacy with a Doctorate in Pharmacy. During her years of professional study, she was inducted into Kappa Psi Pharmaceutical Fraternity, Inc., American Pharmacists Association, American Society of Health–System Pharmacists, and Rho Chi – The Academic Honor Society in Pharmacy. During her final professional year she was awarded the 2016 Debbie Mellinger Memorial Award. She is currently a Pharmacy Practice Resident at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo.
Randy is a 2009 graduate of Shannon High School where he was a member of the Hall of Fame. He attended Itawamba Community College for two years where he was a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honorary Society and graduated with Special Honors. He is a 2013 Magna Cum Laude graduate from the University of Mississippi School of Engineering where he received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. He was a member of Gamma Beta Phi, Gamma of Mississippi, Alpha Lambda Delta National Honor Society, Upsilon Pi Epsilon International Honor Society for the Computer and Information Disciplines, Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society, and Golden Key International Honor Society. He was also nominated Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges. He is a software developer for FNC, Inc. in Oxford.
The couple will exchange vows at 6:00 p.m. Saturday, October 15, 2016, at Tremont United Methodist Church in Tremont. A reception at the Jamie L. Whitten Historical Center in Fulton will immediately follow the wedding ceremony. All friends and family are invited to attend.

Miss Gann is the granddaughter of the late Dr. and Mrs. John E. Harris of Tupelo, formerly Okolona, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Rubin Gann of Okolona.

The bride-elect is a 2008 honor graduate of Saltillo High School, and continued her education at Mississippi State University. A 2015 graduate, she earned her Master’s of Science Degree in School Counseling. The bride-elect is currently employed at Saltillo High School where she is a School Counselor and assistant cheer coach.

Mr. Turner is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Keb Wallis of Baldwyn, and the Honorable and Mrs. Jerry Turner of Baldwyn.

The prospective groom is a 2007 graduate of Baldwyn High School, and a 2013 graduate of Northeast Community College. Mr. Turner is currently employed at Toyota Boshoku where he is a Maintenance Technician.

Miss Johnson is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Guy Hugh Day, Jr. of Pontotoc and the late Olen and Bobbie Jean Wilder Johnson of Pontotoc. Mr. Keith is the grandson of Ms. Corinne McGregor and the late Lathan McGregor of Pontotoc and Dub and Gwen Keith of Palmetto and the late Ann Keith.

The bride-elect is a 2013 graduate of Pontotoc High School where she was a member of the Pontotoc High School Band, a member of the yearbook staff, and a member of the volleyball team. She attended Northeast Mississippi Community College, where she was a member of the Tiger Marching Band and Itawamba Community College. The bride-elect works at AAA Cooper Transportation where she is a billing clerk.

The prospective groom graduated from Shannon High School in 2009 where he was a football player. He graduated from Itawamba Community College in 2015 with a degree in Computer Networking Technology. Mr. Keith is currently employed at Keith Salvage where he is a mechanic.

The couple will exchange vows at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 22, 2016, at the King Farm, located in the Furrs Community in Pontotoc on Sims Gin Road. Reception will follow. No invitations are being mailed. All friends and family are cordially invited to attend and share this special day with Emily and Cole.

Callie Margaret Rose Boutot of Burlington, KY (formerly of Tupelo, MS) and Matthew Robert Chisholm of Amory, MS will be united in marriage on November 11, 2016 in a ceremony surrounded by family and friends at Covenant-First Presbyterian Church in Cincinnati, OH. Dr. Hopson Boutot of Poquoson, VA will perform the ceremony.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Michael Robert Boutot and Carol Dorris Boutot. She is the granddaughter of Mary Nell Creely Dorris and the late Lowry Hopson Dorris of Amory, MS.

The groom is the son of Ernest Robert (“Bob”) Chisholm IV and Gail Jones Chisholm of Tupelo, MS. He is the grandson of the late Maedene Weatherly Jones and the late James Kenneth (“Bigfoot”) Jones of Amory, MS. He is also the grandson of Helen Stiles Chisholm and the late Ernest Robert Chisholm III of Charleston, SC.

A reception will follow at the Cincinnati Club in Cincinnati, OH.
The couple will reside in Amory, MS.

Reverend Nathan Fitts of Tupelo and Dr. Tim Brown of Tupelo performed the ceremony. Reverend Gary Townsend of Tupelo, MS provided the music.

The bride is the daughter of Lindon Keith Smith and Theresa Lynn Smith. She is the granddaughter of Billy and Jettie Beasley of Saltillo, MS.
The groom is the son of Tommy Farrar and Kathy Farrar of Saltillo, MS. He is the grandson of Kathleen Thornton of Jumpertown, MS.
The Matron of Honor was Lane Smith Weeden of Saltillo, MS. Bridesmaids were Shelly Lynn Collins of Tupelo, MS, Ashley Patterson of Saltillo, MS, and Randi Clark Henry of Saltillo, MS.
Bradlee Kilgo of Saltillo, MS was best man. Groomsmen were Wes Kloac of Saltillo, MS, Drew Chisolm of Saltillo, MS, and Jacob Henry of Saltillo, MS.

A reception followed at East Heights Baptist Church in Tupelo, MS where guests enjoyed food by Billie Robinson from Billie’s Catering of Guntown, MS.

The couple resides in Mississippi, where the bride works for Corinth Police Department and the groom works for Saltillo Police Department.
