Mr. and Mrs. George and Reba Patterson of Mooreville, MS are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter Emily Lauren, to Dustin Lynn Edmonson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jeff and Kristy Stanford of Hatley, MS.
Miss Patterson is the granddaughter of Earline and the late Paul “Bid” Dickerson of Mooreville and the late Thomas and Lorene Patterson of Saltillo.
Mr. Edmonson is the grandson of Betty and the late James Tingle of Winfield, AL
The bride-elect is a 2008 graduate of Mooreville High School where she was involved with band, choir, FBLA, BETA club, show choir, and co-editor of Mooreville’s weekly column for the Daily Journal. Emily attended Itawamba Community College where she was a officer for Phi Theta Kappa, member of ICC choir and chamber singers, Chieftain member, and Dinner Theatre participant. She graduated from Mississippi University for Women with her Bachelor’s in 2012 and Master’s in 2014 in Speech-Language Pathology. While at MUW, Emily was inducted into Phi Kappa Phi and was a NSSLHA officer. The bride-elect is currently employed by Saltillo Primary School where she is a speech-language pathologist.
The prospective groom graduated from Amory High School in 2009 where he was a member of band, the yearbook staff, tennis team, and participated in theatre. He attended Itawamba Community College where he was a member of band, Chieftain, and one of the founding members of the ICC film club. He also attended Southern Miss where he studied Film. Mr. Edmonson is currently employed by Mabus Agency where he is a video production coordinator.
The couple will exchange vows at 2:00 p.m., November 7 at Holley Farm Wedding Barn in Tremont, MS. Reception will follow at the same location. Friends and family are invited to attend.
