Hannah Jamieson and Alex Downs

Hannah Grace Jamieson and Alex Carlton Downs, both of Booneville, were united in marriage on June 21, 2014, in a ceremony surrounded by family and friends at the Booneville Church of Christ with Aaron Foster officiating and Bonnie Wanner directing. Vocalists for the ceremony were Kayla Allen, Dustin & Hannah Bridges, Jordan Coats, Rebecca Elliott, and Becky Johnson. Floral arrangements for the ceremony were provided by Sidney’s Southern Traditions of Booneville.
The bride is the daughter of Abby George and Joey Jamieson, both of Booneville. She is the granddaughter of Charles George and the late Bobbie George of Booneville and Edsel and Evelyn Jamieson of Ripley.
The groom is the son of Dr. Larry and Rhonda Downs of Booneville. He is the grandson the late Nathaniel Olive and Louise Olive of Booneville, MS, and the late Pete Downs and Marca Kendrick of Booneville, MS.
Escorted by her father, the bride wore an ivory strapless mermaid gown. She carried a bouquet of blush peonies with Pavarotti pink roses and Akito white roses.
The maid of honor was the sister of the bride, Mary Alyse Jamieson of Booneville. Bridesmaids were Madeline Hickman, Molly Rowland, Anna Ward, Markka Prichard, all of Booneville, sister of the groom Dr. Amy Downs of Houston, TX, Emily Thomas of Tupelo, MS, and Samantha Parker of Nashville, TN. The maids wore strapless floor-length gowns with an empire waist made of navy chiffon. Eden Parker of Booneville served as the flower girl.
Father of the groom, Larry Downs, served as the best man. Groomsmen were Blake Hatfield, Dustin Bridges, and Riley Boren, all of Booneville, Brandon Robbins of Corinth, Wesley Bell of Saltillo, Martez Betts, and Blake Burcham both of Pontotoc. Turner Foster of Booneville served as ring bearer. Ushers were James Olive, uncle of the groom, Ryan Ward, Zach Glenn, and Colby England all of Booneville.
After a reception at the Booneville Country Club, the couple left for their honeymoon at the Sandals Royal Plantation in Ocho Rios Jamaica.
The couples resides in Ridgeland, MS, where the bride works for Smart Smile Orthodontics and the groom is pursuing his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the University of Mississippi, Jackson.

Gary and Sherrie Smith of Amory, Mississippi are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter Hannah Jill, to Jason Matthew Kennedy, son of Gerald and Janice Kennedy of Amory, Mississippi.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Robert and Charlene Kuykendall of Amory, Mississippi; the late Louis E. Cross of Knoxville, Tennessee, and Donnell and Annette Smith of Amory, Mississippi.
Miss Smith is a 2007 graduate of Amory Christian Academy. She received an Associates Degree from Itawamba Community College. Hannah is currently a full time student at the University of Mississippi where she is a member of the Student Social Work Organization, and will receive a Bachelor of Science Degree in Social Work this May.
The prospective groom is the grandson of Ruby Thompson and the late Aden Thompson of Smithville, Mississippi and Euple Kennedy and the late W.C Kennedy of Tremont, Mississippi.
Mr. Kennedy graduated from Hatley High School in 2002 where he was a member of the baseball and basketball teams. He attended Itawamba Community College where he studied Business Management. Mr. Kennedy is currently employed as a Foreman at Eutaw Construction Company.
The couple will exchange vows on the 21st of March, at 3 p.m. at The Hancock House in Okolona, Mississippi. Reception will follow at the same location. Friends and family are invited to attend.

Chelsea Hussey and Jon Paul Barber

Chelsea Taylor Hussey of Mooreville, Mississippi and Jon Paul Barber of Nettleton, Mississippi, were united in marriage on November 29, 2014, in a ceremony surrounded by family and friends at Auburn Baptist Church in Mooreville, Mississippi. Reverend Mike Brazeal and Reverend Jimmy Henry performed the ceremony. Musicians Billie McFerrin and Teresa Easley, provided music and Brandon and Kristy Hardin provided solos and duets.

The bride is the daughter of Stan and Peggy Hussey of Mooreville, Mississippi. She is the granddaughter of Willie and Burma Schumpert of Plantersville, Mississippi, and Jimmy and Kathleen Hussey of Mooreville, Mississippi.

The groom is the son of Mike and Sheila Barber of Nettleton, Mississippi. He is the grandson of James Matthews, Sr. and the late Brenda Matthews of Plantersville, Mississippi, and Nell Barber and the late Charles Barber of Nettleton, Mississippi.

Escorted and given in marriage by her father, the bride wore an a-line chapel train dress designed and handmade in Europe with a sweetheart neckline. The gown featured five separate layers adorned with crystal appliqués and beading beautifully arranged on embroidery work all around the dress and train. Her veil was a one-tier cathedral veil with lace appliquéd edging also made in Europe. She wore her mother’s pearl earrings and a diamond and pearl necklace given to her by her parents. She carried a bouquet of fall colored roses and calla lilies with a napkin from her parent’s wedding reception tucked inside.

The Matron of Honor was Lea Anna Hussey of Smithville, Mississippi. The maid of honor was Karley Hall of Mooreville, Mississippi. Bridesmaids were Laura Enlow of Mooreville, Mississippi, Charlie McGaugh of Greenville, Mississippi, Mandi Barber of Nettleton, Mississippi, Allie Matthews and Erin Matthews, both of Plantersville, Mississippi. They wore floor-length, one-shouldered; eggplant colored chiffon gowns and carried bouquets of fall colored roses and calla lilies. Honorary bridesmaids were Morgan McGaugh, Haley Forsythe, Hannah Forsythe, Jamie Wagner and Kimmy Nicholson. The flower girl was Della Rae Hussey of Mooreville, Mississippi and an announcement of the bride was carried by Jada Alexis Graham of Mooreville, Mississippi. Guests were greeted and registered by Tanner Bevill of Mooreville, Mississippi.

Mike Barber, father of the groom, was best man. Groomsmen were Matthew Barber, Michael Burt, Will Hawkins, and Josh Kyle, all of Nettleton, Mississippi, James Matthews, Jr., of Plantersville, Mississippi, and Chip Hussey, of Smithville, Mississippi. Ushers were Mark Enlow, Andy Johns, Jacob Matthews and Jacob Burt. The ring bearer was Corbin Bowles of Nettleton, Mississippi and Elijah Len Graham of Mooreville, Mississippi, assisted his sister Jada with carrying the announcement of the bride.

A reception followed at The Antler in Tupelo Mississippi, where guests enjoyed a buffet prepared by Special Occasions by Sandra and music by The Gents.
After a honeymoon in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, the couple resides in the Richmond Community. The bride is an associate with Health Management Services and pursuing a master’s degree, and the groom farms with his father and brother on Barber Farms.

Andi Parker and Chris Dunn

Mr. and Mrs. Ed Parker of Calhoun City along with Ms. Patsy Parker of Tupelo are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter Andrea Brook Parker, to Christopher Malone Dunn, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Allen Dunn of McCarley.
Miss Parker is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Buren Parker of Bruce and the late Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Parker of Calhoun City.
Mr. Dunn is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Minyard of McCarley and the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Dunn of Greenwood.
The bride-elect is a 2001 graduate of Calhoun Academy. She graduated from Mississippi State University in 2005 where she obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. Miss Parker works as a Sales Associate for McKesson Medical-Surgical.
The prospective groom graduated from Carroll Academy in 1995. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Technology from Mississippi State University in 1999. Mr. Dunn is self-employed as a machinist with Nichols Damascus.
The couple will exchange vows February 2nd 2015 on the beaches of Montego Bay, Jamaica. A reception will follow on February 21st 2015 at Elvis Presley Birthplace Event Center in Tupelo. The newlyweds will make their home in Tupelo.

Samantha Warren and Ted Wigington

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Sue and Harold Kyle Waters of Guntown and the late Jimmy and the late Martha Buchanan of Fulton.

Miss Warren is an honor graduate of Saltillo High School and an honor graduate of Itawamba Community College with an Associate’s degree in Business Administration. She was on the President’s List and the Dean’s List of Scholars while she attended college. She is currently an employee of BancorpSouth in the Imaging department.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Gerald and Janice White of the Jericho community and Bill and Carolyn Wigington of the Center community. Mr. Wigington is a graduate of East Union Attendance Center and a graduate of Northeast Community College with an Associate’s degree in Tool and Die Making. He was on the Dean’s List of Scholars when he attended college. He is an employee of Martinrea Fabco where he is a Tool and Die maker and machinist.

The couple will exchange vows on March 21, 2015 at 6 o’clock in the evening at Faith Baptist Church in Saltillo. A reception will follow in the fellowship hall at the church. Friends and family are invited to attend.

The bride-elect is a 2013 graduate of Netteton High School where she was a NHS Cheerleader and a NHS Tigerette. She is currently attending Itawamba Community College where she is majoring in accounting.

The prospective groom is a 2011 graduate of Mooreville High School. He is a graduate of Itawamba Community College where he majored in diesel mechanics. Mr. Whitworth is currently serving in the United States Army.

She graduated from Mississippi State University in 2013 with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications. She was a member of Delta Gamma Sorority, she attended Reformed University Fellowship and she was a music and worship leader for Campus Crusade for Christ. The bride-elect works for the Foundation of Hospital Art in Atlanta, GA., where she is the Associate Artist.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Mr. And Mrs. Rollie Bevers of Cumming, GA, and Mr. and Mrs. Louie Simmons of Marietta, GA.

The prospective groom graduated from Harrison High School in Kennesaw, GA. He was a member of the Varsity Tennis Team, Executive Board of Student Government, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and a member of Mt. Paran North Church of God. He graduated from Mississippi State University in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. He was a member of the University tennis team, Campus Crusade for Christ, Maroon VIP, and Reformed University Fellowship. Andrew works for Ford Motor Credit Company in Nashville, TN, where he is a Dealer Service Analyst.

Dr. Gilmer is a 2005 honor graduate of Humphreys Academy. He attended Mississippi Delta Community College where he played on the baseball team. He received his Associate of Arts Degree in 2007. He attended Mississippi State University and received his Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences in 2009. He continued his education at the University of Mississippi School of Medicine and received his Doctor of Medicine degree in 2014. He is employed as a Resident in Radiology at University of Mississippi School of Medicine

The prospective groom is the grandson of Charles Robbins of New Albany and the late Barbara Basil of New Albany, and the late Sammie and Gladys Carr of Mooreville.

Mr Carr is a graduate of Mooreville High School. He earned his Associates degree from Itawamba Community College. He also attended Lee University in Cleveland, TN. He is employed at CSpire Wireless.

Drew and Morgan are both pursuing ministry and will be ordained ministers in the Church of God in 2015.

Jason is a 2005 graduate of Tupelo High School, a 2010 graduate of Mississippi State University with a degree in Kinesiology. In 2013 he graduated from Meridian Community College with a Physical Therapy Assistant Degree. He is currently employed for Reconnect Therapy at the West Point Community Living Center as the director of the rehab department.
The couple will exchange vows at 5:00 pm, March 14th, at the Rosegate Venue in Florence, MS. The couple will reside in Tupelo.

He is a 1991 graduate of Tupelo High School and was proud to serve in the United States Marine Corps. The groom is the Operations Manager of the Natchez Trace RV Park and Campground.

The prospective groom is a 2008 graduate of Pontotoc High School, and he received his Bachelor of Biology from Mississippi State University in 2013 and a Masters in Biomedical Science from the University of Mississippi Medical Center in 2014. He is currently employed at Murrah High School in Jackson, Mississippi as a chemistry teacher.

The bride-elect is a 2006 graduate of Saltillo High School. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Mississippi State University in 2010, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. The bride-elect is employed by the U.S. House of Representatives.
The prospective groom graduated from South Point high school in 2006. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Statistics with a minor in Music from North Carolina State University in 2010, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. He also earned a master’s degree in Analytics from North Carolina State University in 2011. Mr. Gaddis is employed at Deloitte Consulting where he is a statistical consultant.

Miss Sullivan is the granddaughter of the late Mr. Bill Sisco, Mrs. Dorothy Sisco of Fulton, Mississippi; the late Mr. Taylor Sullivan & the late Ms. JoAnn Sullivan Fowler of Richmond, Mississippi; Mr. & Mrs. Durell Hall of Nettleton, Mississippi.

Mr. Hillyard is the grandson of the late Mr. & Mrs. William Tommy Pegram.

The bride-elect is a 2002 graduate of Chelsea High School. She received a Bachelor of Science from Mississippi State University in 2007 & a Bachelor of Nursing from Mississippi University for Women. She is currently employed as a registered nurse at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, Mississippi.

The prospective groom is a 2000 graduate of Satillo High School. He received an Associates in Applied Science degree in Respiratory Therapy in 2003. He is currently employed as a registered respiratory therapist at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, Mississippi.

The couple will exchange vows at 5:30 in the evening on March 14, 2015, at Southwind in Shannon, Mississippi. Reception will follow at Southwind. Friends and family are invited to attend.

Janine Marie Bolivar of Santa Barbara, California and William Henry Roop, Jr. of Tupelo, Mississippi, were united in marriage on Valentine’s Day, February 14th, 2015, in a sunset ceremony surrounded by family and friends at Santa Barbara Harbor Beach in Santa Barbara, California. Individual butterflies were released by everyone at the moment of union. Reverend Nina Key of Santa Barbara performed the ceremony. Music provided by Chris Bareng of Ventura, California. The bride is the daughter of the late William Bolivar of Las Vegas, Nevada and Carole Egan of Oakton, Virginia.

The groom is the son of Henry and Norma Roop of Senatobia, Mississippi.

Escorted by her two daughters, Sasha and Serena. The bride wore a full laced long custom-made dress, lined with satin. The gown was a sleeveless sheer open-back with 72 buttons of satin down the train. She carried a bouquet of 6 yellow roses, lavender, and babies breath.

Bridesmaids were Sasha Bolivar of Los Angeles, California and Serena Juma of Seattle, Washington. They both wore sleeveless lavender chiffon dresses.

A reception followed at Chuck’s Waterfront Grill in Santa Barbara, California where guests enjoyed custom made strawberry wedding cake with whipped cream frosting..

The couple resides in Tupelo, Mississippi, where the bride is self-employed and the groom is retired. Both enjoy volunteer work for worthy causes as well as many forms of exercise and activities.

Kimberly is a 2003 graduate of East Union Attendance Center and a graduate of Itawamba Community College with an Associate’s of Arts Degree. She works at North Mississippi Medical Center where she is a Restorative Care Technician. The prospective groom is the grandson of the late James H. and Dominka (Sonya) Card of Eupora, and Hazel Avent and the late Howard Avent of Eupora. Jody is a 2004 graduate of Eupora High School. He obtained an Automative Technician Degree from East Mississippi Community College. He is currently employed at Meineke Car Care Center where he is a Shop Foreman.The couple will exchange vows on Saturday, March 14, 2015, at 5:00 p.m. at Jericho Baptist Church in Guntown. Reception will follow at Jericho Baptist Church Fellowship Hall. Friends and family are invited to attend.

Mike and Kathy Biddle of Nettleton, MS, announce the engagement of their daughter, Kelly Susanne Biddle, to Wesley Brent Dickson, son of Jimmy and Beth Dickson of Crystal Springs, MS.
The Bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Biddle of Nettleton, MS, and Mrs. Doris Belk and the late Mr. Leroy Belk of Tupelo, MS.
She is a 2005 graduate of Itawamba Agricultural High School, a 2010 graduate of Samford University in Birmingham, AL, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Sports Medicine and was a member of the Alpha Gamma Chapter of Phi Mu Sorority. She is a 2014 graduate of University of Pikeville, Kentucky College of Osteopathic Medicine in Pikeville, KY, where she earned a doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine and was the president of the Student National Medical Association. She is currently employed with EC Health Network Family Medicine Residency Program.
The prospective groom is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Brent and Mrs. Charlotte Dickson and the late Mr. Dickson of Crystal Springs, MS.
He is an Eagle Scout, 2006 graduate of Copiah Academy, and 2011 graduate of Mississippi State University where he received a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering. He is currently employed with ESCO.
The couple will be married on March 14, 2015 at 3 p.m. at Harrisburg Baptist Church in Tupelo, MS. Reception will be to follow at the Tupelo Country Club. They will reside in Newton, MS.
