Alisha Holder and Justin Richardson

Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Holder of Houston are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Alisha Ruth Holder, to Justin Aubrey Richardson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ricky Richardson of Mobile, AL. Miss Holder is the granddaughter of the late Henry and Ruth Higginbotham of Houston and Mavis Holder and the late James Holder of Houston.
Mr. Richardson is the grandson of Mary Kelly and the late Roger Kelly of Mobile, AL and Betty Richardson and the late John Henry Richardson of Mobile, AL.
The bride-elect is a 2009 honor graduate of Houston High School. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Mississippi State University in 2014 with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education.
The prospective groom is a 2008 graduate of Calera High School. He graduated from Mississippi State University in 2013 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business and Marketing.
The couple will exchange wedding vows at 6:00 o’clock in the evening at The Chapel of Memories in Starkville, MS. Reception will follor at The Hunter Henry Center, Friends and family are invited to attend.
The couple will reside in Pensacola, FL.

Mark and Cindi Babineaux of Scott, Louisiana, announce the engagement of their daughter, Claire Elizabeth, to William Barr Sabin, son of Lynn Wesson of Guntown, Mississippi.
Miss Babineaux is the granddaughter of the late Judge Allen and Florence Babineaux and the late Alcee and Ruby Mouton, all of Lafayette, Louisiana.
She earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Louisiana in Lafayette, a Master of Science from Mississippi State University, and is presently pursuing a Doctorate of Earth and Atmospheric Science at MSU.
Mr. Sabin is the grandson of the late John E. and Helen L. Wesson of Guntown, Mississippi.
He earned a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Business Administration at Mississippi State University and is currently completing a Master of Science in Information Systems from MSU.
A March wedding is planned.

Darby Kellum and Will Kilpatrick

Surrounded by family and many friends, Catherine Darby Kellum and William Heard Kilpatrick were united in marriage at half after five in the evening on November 22, 2014, at Seaside Chapel in Seaside, Florida.
The bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Mark Jackson Kellum of Tupelo, Mississippi. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Marceline Darby Kellum and the late Dr. Joseph Kellum, and the late Mr. and Mrs. Guy Gravlee junior, all of Tupelo.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Albert Kilpatrick of Seagrove, Florida. He is the grandson of Dr. and Mrs. William Heard Kilpatrick of Atlanta, Georgia, and Dr. Carolyn Ann Martin of Tiger, Georgia, and the late Mr. Everett Goodman Gleaton and the late Mary Frances Gleaton of Albany, Georgia.
Reverend Rob Gresham of Charleston, South Carolina, officiated. Soloists, Calvin and Jauna Ellis, of Memphis performed “Come Thou Fount” by Robinson and “My Shepherd Will Supply My Need” by Watts. A beautiful mix of Broadway, Beatles and hymns were provided by Yasya Brown, violinist, and Ann Wilson, cellist.
Escorted by her father, the bride wore an exquisite, one-shoulder Monique Lhuillier gown of white tulle and carried a bouquet of white peonies with botanical greenery. They walked down the aisle to Rodgers and Hammerstein’s “Edelweiss.”
Attending the bride as maid of honor was her sister, Tyler Kellum Jeter of Ridgeland, Mississippi. Other bridesmaids were Molly Grace Maynard of Starkville, Mississippi, Rachel Williamson Donald and Marilyn Wells Hill of Birmingham, Alabama, Strohm Gaston of New York, New York, Paige Daugherty of Drew, Mississippi, Mary Chris Kellum Moore of Memphis, Tennessee, Haley Kilpatrick Dozier of Atlanta, Georgia, Kelly Kilpatrick of Macon, Georgia, and bride’s proxy, Kelly Diane Quick of Starkville, Mississippi. The bridesmaids wore floor-length mint, chiffon gowns and carried a bouquet of white peonies and botanical greenery.
William Albert Kilpatrick, father of the groom, served as his son’s best man. Brothers-in-law, Paul Christopher Dozier of Atlanta and Cameron Blake Jeter of Ridgeland, served as groomsmen as well as Neil Bailey Alvarez of Charlotte, North Carolina, Richard Hilsman Knight of Phoenix, Arizona, and Owen Reeves Mayfield of Washington, DC.
A reception was held at the Seaside Lyceum Lawn. Guests enjoyed a delicious dinner buffet followed by dancing and music by City Heat of Montgomery, Alabama. After a honeymoon trip to St. John, the couple resides in Albany, Georgia.

Hope Earnest and Malcolm Jones

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Jimmy and Geneva Tabler of Mantachie and Gaddis and Erika Earnest of Golden and the late Mary Karnegay of Fulton.

The prospective groom is the grandson of the late Jimmy and Wanda Dell Jones of Mantachie and the late Tommy (Slick) and Clemmie (Mutt) Spradling of Mantachie. Adopted grandson of Dorthy Sue Farris and the late J. T. Farris of Mantachie.

Hope is a 2009 graduate of Mantachie High School, where she was in colorguard for 3 years in the band. She is also a 2014 honor graduate of Itawamba Community College with a Associate of Applied Science Degree in Office Systems Technology. She is currently employed at Express Care Clinic in Fulton as a office coordinator.

Malcolm attended Mantachie High School, where he played football and baseball. He is currently employed with Jesco at Coopertire in Tupelo.

The couple will exchange vows at 4:00 p.m. March 21, 2015 at Holley Farm in Fulton. A reception will follow. Family and Friends are invited to attend.

Vicki graduated from The University of Mississippi Medical Center with a Doctor of Physical Therapy. She is currently employed by Traceway Retirement Community in Tupelo, Mississippi.
The prospective groom is the grandson of the late Trelvie and Nancy Christian of Fulton, Mississippi, and Robert and Patsy Willingham of Ruleville, Mississippi.
Mr. Christian is a graduate of Itawamba Agricultural High School. Blake attended Christian Brothers University, where he played baseball. He graduated from The University of Mississippi with a Bachelor of Arts in History. He is currently employed by BancorpSouth in Tupelo, Mississippi.
The couple will exchange vows at a private ceremony on April 11, 2015 at Goodlett Manor in Tupelo, Mississippi. A reception will follow at the same location. Invitations are being sent locally.

The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Chrestman of Bruce, and Mr. Ralph Smith of Guntown, and the late Mrs. Betty Waters Smith.

Miss Smith is a 2009 honor graduate of Saltillo High School. She attended Mississippi State University and graduated Cum Laude in 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in Agriculture Economics. She was a member of Kappa Delta Sorority, served as Student Chapter President of the National Agri- Marketing Association, and was a College of Agriculture and Life Sciences Ambassador. Miss Smith is employed as a Credit Analyst for Capital Markets at the Mississippi Land Bank in Senatobia.

The prospective groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Sullivan of Inverness and Mr. and Mrs. Pearman Smith of Cleveland.

Mr. Smith graduated from Memphis University School in 2009. He attended Mississippi State University and graduated in 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in Finance. He was a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity where he held several positions. Upon graduation, Mr. Smith was hired as a Credit Analyst in the Commercial Lending Division at First Tennessee Bank Memphis. In January of this year he joined Rutledge Investment as a Mortgage Banker.

A ceremony for close friends and family will be held Saturday, April 18, 2015, 6 p.m. at Camp Creek Baptist Church in Guntown. Everyone is invited to the reception at 7 p.m. at Blue August in Baldwyn.

Brittany Watson and Nathan Rushing

Brittany Lauren Watson and Nathan Cole Rushing were united in holy matrimony at five o’clock in the afternoon on September 27, 2014, in a ceremony surrounded by family and friends at The Antler in Tupelo, MS. Will Rambo of Tupelo performed the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Woody Watson of Tupelo. She is the granddaughter of Mr. Dennis Cobb and Mrs. Jeanie Cobb of Tupelo, and Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Watson of Tupelo.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gary Rushing of Mooreville and Mr. and Mrs. Carl Craig of Aberdeen. He is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Billy Rushing of Paducah, KY and Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Oliver of Hamilton, AL.

Escorted by her father and grandfather, the bride wore an ivory wedding gown designed by Paloma Blanca from Low’s Bridal and Formal in Brinkley, AR. The beautiful gown featured a sweetheart neckline of French cut Alencon lace. The dropped natural waistline was accented with a Dupioni silk cummerbund with a sash adorned with pearls, rhinestones, rocals and bugles. Her single layered ivory veil was edged with Alencon lace and blunt tulle. To add to the beauty of Brittany’s gown, she wore an heirloom in the making. What started out as a simple add-a-pearl necklace given to her by her great grandfather when she was born, was then later finished by Mom and Dad as a gift to be worn on her wedding day. Brittany carried a trailing nosegay lushly detailed with flowers of whites and greens. The flower combination was white chocolate roses, creamy vendella roses, white lysianthus and dendrobium florets. Touches of sparkle were added to the theme of glamour meets a rustic relaxed setting.

Serving as her Matron of Honor was Danielle Manning of Brandon, MS. Bridesmaids were Megan Gale of Saltillo and Ashley Rushing of Mooreville. Miss Margaret Mask of Tupelo served as junior bridesmaid and flower girl.

The bridesmaids wore floor length chiffon dresses in slate grey. All wearing different necklines such as strapless, one shoulder and two straps with a ruched bodice A line skirt. The junior bridesmaid wore a hand made white linen dress. They carried open style nosegays of roses, lysianthus, hydrangea and berries.

Serving as best man was Austin Craig of Aberdeen MS. Groomsmen were Tyler Chism and Shawn Rushing of Mooreville and Woody Watson II of Tupelo, MS.

A reception followed at The Antler in Tupelo MS where guests dined on scrumptious southern fare catered by Romies Grocery. Guest danced the night away with music provided by the Spunk Monkees. After spending their honeymoon in Punta Canta, Dominican Republic, the couple resides in Tupelo, MS.

Anna graduated from Mississippi State University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication in 2013, and she graduated from Mississippi College with a Master of Science Degree in Higher Education Administration in 2014. She is employed by Mississippi State University in Starkville, Mississippi.

The prospective groom is a 2004 graduate of Columbia Academy. Joshua graduated from Mississippi State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering in 2013. He is employed by Neel-Schaffer in Starkville, Mississippi.

The couple will exchange vows at 3:00 p.m. on April 18, 2015 at the Sherman Church of Christ in Sherman, Mississippi with a reception at the Bel Air Center in Tupelo to follow. Family and friends are invited to attend.

She graduated from the University of Mississippi in May of 2012 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education. In August of 2013, she graduated from the University of Mississippi with a Master’s in Literacy. The bride-elect is employed by the Tupelo Public School District. She teaches second grade at Joyner Elementary School.

The prospective groom graduated from Ingomar High School in 2007 where he was a member of the varsity basketball team. He graduated from the University of Mississippi in December of 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Studies, and is currently pursing a Master’s in Educational Leadership at Arkansas State University. Mr. Fitzgerald is employed by Desoto County School District where he teaches and coaches high school basketball.

Bridget Leigh-Ann Beasley and Tyler Wayne Shook will be joined together in marriage on May 9, 2015, at the home of the bride elect’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Beasley in Booneville, MS.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Ronald (Ronny) and Martha Beasley of Booneville and the granddaughter of Robert and Yvonne Beasley of Booneville and the late Harliss and Geneva Hill and the late Inez Hill.

She will graduate from NEMCC in May 2015, with an Associate degree in Radiology Technology. She is currently employed at Magnolia Regional Health Center.

The prospective groom is the son of Harvey and Amy Shook of Booneville and the grandson of Jimmy and Ann Shook and Paul and Yvonne Mayo all of Booneville.

He graduated from Mississippi State University in 2014, with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and is currently employed at Okin America, Inc. in Shannon, MS.

He was the 2001 & 2002 All Star, All District & MV Defensive Lineman in football and 2002 & 2003 MS State Champion Power Lifter and record holder. He attended Mississippi State University. Mr. Crum served 6 years in the US Navy and completed his service as a Nuclear Machinist Mate. He is currently employed at Southern Power Company, Kemper County, MS. Mr. Correll then attended the University of Mississippi School of Law, which he graduated from in 2010. He is now a licensed attorney in North Carolina and is currently employed at the Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department where he is a crime analyst.

Miss Murphy is the granddaughter of Mrs. Virginia Goddard, the late Mr. Smith Goddard, Mr. Gene Murphy and the late Mrs. Vera Murphy all of Booneville.
Dr. Cummings is the grandson of Mrs. Ernestine McBroom of Gainsville, GA, Mr. Hubert McBroom of Flowery Branch, GA, the late Mrs. Peggy Steele of Hollister, CA and the late Mr. Cecil Cummings of Salinas, CA.
The bride-elect is a 2010 graduate of Booneville High School where she was a member of the Hall of Fame, a Mississippi Scholar and an honor student. In 2012 she earned an associate of applied science degree in nursing from Northeast MS Community College and in 2014 a bachelor of science degree in nursing from MS University for Women. She is a member of Phi Theta Kappa and the National Society of Leadership and Success. She has been accepted to the University of Memphis, Loewenburg School of Nursing Master of Science in Nursing Family Nurse Practitioner program for Fall 2015. Miss Murphy is a registered nurse at the North MS Medical Center in Tupelo.
The prospective groom graduated from Washington School in 2005. In 2007 he earned an associate of arts degree in biology from Northwest MS Community College and in 2009 he graduated magna cum laude from the University of MS with a bachelor of arts degree in biology. He is a member of Phi Theta Kappa. He graduated from the University of MS Medical Center with a doctorate of physical therapy in 2013. Dr. Cummings is currently employed at North MS Medical Center where he is a physical therapist in acute care.
The couple will exchange vows at 5 o’clock in the afternoon on May 16, 2015 at Gaston Baptist Church in Booneville. A reception will follow the ceremony in the former Gaston Baptist Church sanctuary. Immediately following the reception, a dance will be held at the home of Mrs. Virginia Goddard, the bride’s grandmother. Friends and family are invited to attend.

Mr. and Mrs. Knox Harold Loftin, Jr. of Tupelo and Ms. Donna Stevens Loftin of Aberdeen are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter Ashley Cole, to Charles Andrew Byrd, son of Ms. Cynthia Tucker Whiten of Biloxi.

Miss Loftin is the granddaughter of Mrs. Jeannette Park Stevens and the late Mr. Harold Dean Stevens, Sr. of Okolona and Mrs. Joan Millender Loftin and the late Mr. Knox Harold Loftin, Sr. of Aberdeen.

Mr. Byrd is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Jimmie Dale Tucker of Gulfport.

The bride-elect is a 2005 graduate of Aberdeen High School. She graduated from Mississippi State University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts and in 2013 completed her Master of Science. The bride-elect works at The Law Offices of Charles Yoste as a Paralegal.

The prospective groom graduated from Gulfport High School in 2001. He graduated from Mississippi State University in 2005 with a Bachelor of Business Administration, and in 2006 completed his Master of Business of Administration. Mr. Byrd is currently employed as a Vice President at The Citizens Bank of Philadelphia, serving as the Appraisal Review Officer, and at Mississippi State University where he is a Lecturer of Real Estate.

The couple will exchange vows at six o’clock in the evening on June 27, 2015 at the Hewlett Barn at Woodside Estates in Starkville. Reception will follow at the same location. All friends and family are invited to attend.

Cindy Delgadillo of Tupelo, Mississippi and Philip Lewis of Memphis, Tennessee were united in marriage On March 14, 2014 in a ceremony surrounded by family and friends at Piedmont Driving Club in Atlanta, Georgia. Ben Goldhaber of Boston, Massachusetts
performed the ceremony.

The bride is the granddaughter of the late Carl and Margaret Swofford of New Albany, Mississippi and the late Efraim and Martha Delgadillo of New Albany, Mississipi.

The groom is the son of Hal and Jean Lewis of Memphis, Tennessee. He is the grandson of Margaret Hallle and the late Arthur Hale, Jr. of Cleveland, Ohio and Jack and Nicole Lewis of Memphis, Tennessee.

The Maid of Honor was Angelita Delgadillo of Dallas, Texas. Bridesmaids were Lauren Buehler of Atlanta, Georgia, Justine Phiefer of Savannah, Georgia, Elizabeth Todd of Jackson, Mississippi, Leslie Wescioo of Atlanta, Georgia, Katelyn Sellers of Jacksonville, Florida and Kristine Falk of Chapel Hill, North Carolina.

Jeff Lewis of Atlanta, Georgia was best man. Groomsmen were Kyle Porter of Atlanta, Georgia, Drew Whitaker of New York City, Blake Weiss of St. Louis , Missouri, Alex Miller of Raleigh, North Carolina and Matt Cohen of Memphis, Tennessee.

A reception followed at the Piedmont Driving Club in Atlanta.

After a honeymoon in the Maldeas Islands the couple resides in Atlanta where the bride is an accountant and the groom is a shareholder in Fulcrum Equity Partners.
